BHTEC Modular Wetlands Wastewater Treatment Plant

The BHTEC Modular Wetlands Wastewater Treatment Plant is located in the Belo Horizonte Technology Park, at the headquarters of the company Wetlands Construídos.

The plant treats part of the sanitary effluents generated at BHTEC and is fully integrated into a plaza, embodying the landscape and harmonious appeal of wetlands technology. The treated effluents are discharged into an ornamental lake, as a way to showcase the quality of the treated effluent to the park community.

In addition to serving as a showcase to demonstrate the potential application of the technology, the BHTEC Wastewater Treatment Plant is also an example of our product: Modular Wetlands.

Modular Wetlands are prefabricated, plug-and-play plants, marketed by our company. They are shipped in recovered and adapted shipping containers (out of circulation), fully waterproofed, and intended for the treatment of industrial sanitary effluents and the treatment of sludge from other wastewater treatment plants.
