Consulting and studies
in environmental sanitation
We experience firsthand the challenges and difficulties of environmental sanitation in small and medium-sized industrial, mining, and municipal projects. We are a multidisciplinary and experienced team with diverse backgrounds, equipped to address the multiple challenges of this type of operation. Our commitment is not to "one technology" or "one solution," but to results. That's why we help you understand, measure, compare, and technically justify the best choice for your needs.

Operational Diagnosis in 22 Wastewater Treatment Plants
FOR PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
Product developed: Operational diagnostic report, action plan and technical specification of solutions for the adaptation of 22 municipal wastewater treatment plants.
Size/flow rate: 0.1 to 2.0 L/s or 8.64 to 172 m³/day or equivalent population of 57 to 1,152 inhabitants
Project Description: In response to new requirements for ammonia nitrogen removal and improved quality of treated wastewater in the state of Minas Gerais, a plan was developed to adapt the 22 municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). Among the recommended solutions were the replacement of small peri-urban WWTPs with pumping stations connected to the central WWTP and/or changes to treatment processes.

Operational Diagnosis for Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades
Product developed: Operational diagnosis and action plan for improvements in two wastewater treatment plants.
Size/Flow Rate:
ETE ADM: 0.83 L/s or 72 m³/day or 480 equivalent inhabitants
UEM Wastewater Treatment Plant : 0.28 L/s or 24 m³/day or equivalent for 160 inhabitants
Project Description: Development of an operational diagnosis for the adaptation of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) in a mining company in the state of Goiás. The WWTPs lacked defined operational and monitoring routines, as well as defined sludge disposal procedures. Furthermore, they presented some operational inefficiencies, with effluent quality parameters showing occasional non-conformities with legislation.

FEASIBILITY STUDY
Product developed: Technical and economic feasibility study for a municipal wastewater treatment plant in Maricá-RJ.
Size/Flow Rate: 27,009 m³/day | Equivalent to 166,330 inhabitants.
Project Description: Technical feasibility study that guided the selection of wastewater treatment and sludge management technology for a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in the city of Maricá-RJ. Survey of influent flows, loads, and concentrations. Selection of treatment processes best suited to the local context. Proposal of technological alternatives for the WWTP. Comparative evaluation between the proposed alternatives and recommendation of the best solution. Development of a simplified economic study with estimated CAPEX and OPEX costs. Proposal of a Sludge Management Unit with constructed wetlands for the management of the solid phase of the selected system.
